If you are sincere in wanting to learn about chickens...Just do some basic research on the internet...

First of all, your chicken isn't pregnant. She is broody, she is setting/brooding/incubating/sitting on--her eggs. If the hen and her chicks will have access to the outside and have grassy areas to forage in the mama hen will show her chicks what is good to eat and they will get grit to grind it up/digest it out there. If they will be confined you should feed a chick starter feed to that mama and chick group. The eggs take 21 days more or less to hatch, so use that time to do as much reading here and elsewhere on the net as you can to become as informed as you can so you can provide your chickens a good quality of life :-) Hope that helps a little, Carrie
