need help on my peanhen sitting on eggs

Hi,How long after she lays her last egg ,do you start counting the days until they hatch,she has 5 eggs do you count 28 days after she lays the last egg or do you start counting after she lays the first one,,thank you a ton sue

After the last one. I would watch when she leave the nest, candle any that didnt hatch and place in incubator for a few days.
just in case u have a late hatch, if you do just place it under the hen the first night.

Thank you,I will just add 5 days to her sitting and see what happens,do you think she would still be sitting on the eggs for over 28 days if thery were not fertile,I never candled them as I was scared she would leave the nest.any help is wonderful,being 62 and a first timmer to peacocks,,thank you,sue

Yes they will set longer if not fetile, she will leave the nest about a day after hatching.

How long she been setting ???

I would check under her, if 29 days from last egg she should have hatched a few all ready.
