Chick crumbles is fine but doesn't have the amt of niacin ducklings need to grow strong healthy legs and can also have neurological issues from not getting enough niacin, you can buy Brewers Yeast and sprinkle over their feed 2 teas. to 1 cup of feed or buy plain niacin 100-150mgs and mix in one gal of water, do this till they are at least 10-12 weeks old, they grow so fast. make sure if you go weith niacin that you don't get flush free or time released. Some one said it is behind the counter at most pharmacies. Congrats on your new ducklings.

There hatching but I can't get the niacin today :( I will get it today where can I get brewers yeast from in the uk?

you don't need it that quick lol, just start it when you can in the next couple of days, they aren't going to eat anyway for probably 24 hrs. they will live off the yolk. Not sure where you can get Brewers yeast in UK. I finally found some on line for animals. it is less expensive than the human kind. Live stock brewers yeast. I also give it to my dogs. The human kind can be bought on line or at Natural food stores.
