4 days ago I found a baby mourning dove out by one of our ponds. She was covered in ants, crop was empty. I moved her somewhere close to where she was but safer. I went and checked on her every two hours that entire day. No parents, no nest found, no food in crop.
I've been feeding her Kaytee parrot formula for the past 4 days, and she's been eating wonderfully. She poops, and is really sweet.
However, yesterday she acts hungry, but doesn't seem to want her formula. She screams like she is frustrated when trying to feed her.
Is she old enough fir seeds? Do I need to change the formula? She likes it extremely liquidy..
I'm getting worried about her. . I offered millet seeds am millet spray to her and she has no interest at all. .
What should I try next? When do i switch her feed? How old do you think she is? The first picture is 4 days ago.

She/It looks like a newborn (about a week or so old). I found my pigeon almost two weeks ago and was told the only thing to feed it is Exact hand feeding formula. Although it is always fussy, it will accept the food with gladness. Mine is just a fussy little thing. Caution though, once you hand feed it, it will not survive in the wild or be accepted by its peers so, looks like you've joined me as a seragent pigeon parent. I've done a lot of web reading since I found it simply to know what to expect and how to take care of it.

***Keep it warm (90 degrees), since its so small it will likely stay cold. Good luck to you
