at what age does a polish chicken start to breed and lay eggs because im gonna hatch some baby polish chicks and sell them to some friends
 
it really depends on the bird. but i would say about 6-7 months old they should be laying. you really should wait until they are over a year so their egg size is large enough to be able to produce a healthy and decent sized chick, small eggs tend to produce tiny and sometimes unhealthy chicks. hatching from pullet eggs is a gamble since the pullet may not be in full swing of producing eggs, she may not be receiving full contact from the roo since she will be learning how to balance and be used to his advances.
