Need help quick!!!

I have a female kaki campbell duck, for the past couple of days she has been put in her own cage every night cause she has had an abscess on the bottom of her foot(I think she might of some how cut it), so every night I have been soaking her foot in epsoms salt water, so my question is do I still soak her foot? and should I put bag balm on it?

Any advice will be great, and thanks ahead for the advice

I would still soak the foot but would avoid putting anything over it right now incase there is still bacteria in there that could multiply rapidly if sealed up.

Ok than you pete 565, I dont understand what would have caused this thing on the bottom of her foot?

I dont know for sure, but I just went to google and took a look at some of the pictures and this one looked most simular
