For my first foray into chickens, I bought 4 chicks: Black Australorp, Golden Lace Wyandotte, Production Red, and Black Sex Links.
They were sex-ed runs, so I know I had a 90/90/90/100 chance of females. I think the first two are males, but I'm inexperienced. They're bigger, but that could be the breed. They're more aggressive and every morning starts with the Australorp and Wyandotte flying at each other before settling down. The Red seems to me a female, and it' nice to have the sex links certainty.
So, Picture 1) Penguin, Black Australorp with Production Red and Golden Lace in background
Picture 2) Goldie, Golden Lace with Production Red in background
Picture 3) Red Queen, Production Red
What do you think?
