Hello everyo everyone, ive been watching this site for sometime and finally decided to make an account. I have a bit of a problem. I have 3 drakes, 2 khaki campbells and 1 magpie, they are 1.5 years old. They have one female rouen which is currently sitting on her eggs. About 2 months ago I recieved my order of 6 rouen females, 3 khaki females, 2 pekin females and one black swedish female, I also bought a khaki, cayuga blue swed and pekin male. My problem is that my 3 adult males chase my younger ones around every chance they get, when they finally catch one they all gang up on it and attempt to mate it or kill it I cant tell cause everytime it happens I break it up and throw the adults into the lake. Is there any hope that one day they will let the younger ones roam our yard and lakeshore in peace.

It's the height of the breeding season and most drakes are kind of nuts. I would keep the drakes separated from the setting hen and the younger ducks until the ducks are larger, and the drakes have settled down. Multiple drakes gang breeding hens CAN drown or seriously injure them.
