okay so the last few days my ducks have been spiting up a lot.
they are older ducks between 2mths and a year and a half. the only thing i can think of is that latly they have been gorging them selves then drinking a bunch of water.
anyone have this issue? is it a sickness?
well now i think it is a sickness! 1 of my cayugas is having a hard time walking, standing and getting back up. i put the sprinkler on them just incase they are to hot (its 99deg) but didnt seem to make a dif.
please any ideas would be great!

What are you feeding them?

Usually when waterfowl are having problems with their legs it's a nutritional defiency of niacin. I'm not sure about the spitting up though..

Never had that happen. I would try and get some electrolytes and sugar water in that Cayuga.

Call your Ag Extension office in the morning.

I had a hard time last night researching this on the net. I just couldn't get the right search criteria. What I could find, suggested poisoning. I would call a vet like cottage rose suggested. Even if you can't take anyone in, they may be able to help you understand what is going on better than we can and offer up a remedy.
