Ok so a few days ago we had one hatch, left him in. The incubator for 24 hrs. Took it out and put it under a hear light. It died a few hours later. It was lethargic when I put it in there. I tried to get it to drink and eat but it wouldn't. Now the rest hatched last night. They seem ok, but not very vocal, I tried to get them to drink too and they just wanted to curl up under my legs. I still have them in the incubator. Is this normal? And how long should I wait to try to get them to drink again? And when to take them out of the incubator

Yep! Showed them food and water. One was picking on the food, I dipped all there beaks in the water and that's all it took, they all got a little drink. They are laying under the heat lamp now. We mixed electrolytes in the water. Gonna try that for a bit. Then probably switch to probiotics later since I haven't seen any of them poop yet today

They probably won't eat or drink too much in the first day or too, that is what the yolk was for, put something shiny in the water, and scatter their food on what should be paper towels initially, turkeys have to be taught how to eat and drink and will be clumsy for a while, keep their temperature around 95-100 at first, the first two weeks are the hardest, make sure they are eating and drinking every day after the first two. I only put a bit of brown sugar in my waterer, just a bit of energy to help them get going.
