Need help with search engine please

I'm looking for the rodriguez poultry thread on their stolen horse which has since been recovered.
I enter 'stolen horse' under key words for both text and subject line, and rodriguez poultry for the author and come up with nothing. What am I doing wrong?
I've tried it in 'all forums', other pets & livestock and the random ramblings section also to help narrow things down.
How specific do you have to be without rewriting the entire post in there?

I'm just teasing you. Sometimes you can put too much information in that search. All I did was type stolen horse, no author. Bazinga!

Wow. Too much info? I'll try less next time I use it. Now wonder I have no luck with that thing! Thanks for the tip
