Hi, I have a silkie (st.run, 7weeks old), a specked susex, and 2 EE's that I needed help checking the gender on. Besides for the silkie they were all bought as pullets. Also, how old do you think the ee and ss are? Thanks!

The silkie is 7 weeks old and the other three were purchased from a lady who orders 100's of Ideal pullet chicks and then sells them when they're older. She thought they were around 6 weeks old but I thought closer to 4 weeks.

Tamor is a cockerel, I can tell you that. He still has baby fuzz on his head but a huge comb. And I think Kell is a cockerel too.

The Silkie is too early to tell.

The Speckled Sussex looks like a pullet.

Kell appears to have the triple pea comb. I don't see that on Tamor but that doesn't mean much... I do know, however, that my EE pullet was GIGANTIC and had a huge comb at 4 weeks and is most definitely a girl.

so far nothing screams roo, tamor and kell could be roos but i wouldn't worry too much yet. I must say I LOVE Tamor's eyes! they're such a pretty blue!

I don't have much experience but do have one silkie although more breeder quality. Two EE pullets and I had a speckled Sussex roo . I definitely think your SS is a pullet... Mine had a huge red comb a five weeks. I think the first EE kell is a roo. The other a pullet. I'm gonna quess your silkie turns out to be a roo. Let us know in a few months;) Good Luck!
