This egg that I have in the incubator I think is past its due date. It has weird circles in it as if there's a couple air cells. I don't see a lot of movement either. But I think I see a little breathing, maybe a chest breath. I don't know what to do with this egg. Maybe i will leave it another day. Any comments/help i would greatly appreciate. The dark line is where i marked the egg for the laying day. it was under hens then they stopped sitting after 1 chick hatched. then 2 other hens took over. another chick hatched and they too left the nest. so i put them in the incubator. i could be way off on the hatch date then.

There shouldn't be two air cells. So do you see veins? At all? Is it a lil heavier than an egg you would eat? Does this egg seem "sloshy? If this egg were close to hatching it would be slightly heavier and all you would be able to see would be the air cell on the end, not the middle. If there is a chick in there developing you would be able to tell, even if your a beginner at candling Post a video if possible. .

Thank you for your help. I have been doing this for a few years and this is the first egg like this. Its probably not going to hatch. I would be surprised if it does. UPDATE: I opened it and it was dead in the shell.
