Need help with turkey poults dying

I had 40 narraganset turkey poults. They are 4 months old now. They have been dropping dead the past week for no apparent reason. I've lost five in a day. Any help would be appreciated. My vet wants to do an autopsy that will be very expensive if I can't remedy the situation soon.

I'm sorry, I do not know much of anything about turkeys but, if you look for a state lab to do the necropsy, the cost will be much less! Call your local government extension office and ask where the closest lab is. MIne were only $35.
