Unless you have a digital scale, how do you plan to measure 2 grams?
2 g of powder is roughly 2 mL, if you have a mL graduated cyclinder.
Or if you only have a teaspoon, it is roughly 0.4 of a teaspoon. You would have to be somewhere lower than 1/2 tsp but higher than 1/3 tsp. Not really the most accurate, but it is good enough for a gallon.
A dime weighs about 2.3 g if you have a balance.
