My 6 week old Toulouse gosling is bleeding from its quills,our BR Hen attacked her. Do I need to treat her ? Any suggestions how? Help (gulp!)

Put your gosling in some nice warm water and wash the area real good, these kind of wounds bleed a lot. you could try putting some triple antibiotic ointment on the area after bleeding stops but most likely it will just get eaten off. It may take a while to stop the bleeding you can try blood stop, flour or pressure to see if that will help. Just don't use anything that has pain relief in it. I remember someone posted they put Vaseline on the wound and it stopped the bleeding, don't know for sure it works though.
