need help

So we got chickens about 8 months ago, rooster was mean,had him for dinner... Built new hen house, have 5 hens now, just got 8 more Arcanas, anyway one of the hens are laying egg with no shell?? Switched food about 2 weeks ago, got some on sale but hens do not seem to like it, also in new coop for about 1 week. Prior to new feed and coop I was getting 4-5 eggs daily, now getting 3-4 with no shell eggs daily? Do I sit and watch them all lay to know which hens? All seem to behaving normally. Help new to chickens...

Feed, coop, and flock change all cause stress thus reducing the laying rate. It is normal and may take a few weeks to get back to your regular egg rate. For the soft eggs, it can either be that they are not getting enough calcium or that 1 hen is laying more then 1 egg a day. Try giving a bowl of oyster shell or crushed up egg shells to correct the soft egg problem. You will also notice a few strange eggs as they get back to laying again. It's nothing to worry about.
