Need home for Silkie Roo that was found dumped

Hi I'm in San Diego Cali. My brother was out jogging in a big canyon area and came across two starving chickens, obviously dumped out there. He jogged them both back to his truck and of course brought them to my house. Boy were they hungry and thirsty. Two Silkies,an Amber pullet and a White Rooster. He's young and very sweet. I would love to keep him but I'm in the city and I'm over my limit for hens now. Double my limit, but I would keep the Amber pullet although she is bonded to the Roo. IF anybody wants him? I'm going to check with Humane Society but with all the fires we have had lately I think they are pretty full. I would drive him within a two day drive in Cali or Arizona. He comes out of quarantine this morning and is looking healthy.

Good news everybody, I found a chicken lover who wants the Silkie Roo my brother found abandoned. She is also going to take his bonded mate the Amber Silkie. They are local, what a Christmas present for me, and the Roo.

Well the people who are going to take the Rooster we found abandoned has changed their minds. I can't keep him too much longer. Anyone in San Diego LA area want a sweet white Silkie Rooster?
