I have an excess of hens in different breeds and colors. I do have some projects going on and I am breeding pure as well, but would like to tinker with making some pretty chickens that people would buy for their beauty, regardless of breed. I would use my less typy hens with 1 or 2 roos in each pen. I do not know as much about color genetics as many of you do. Please share lots of ideas! This is what I have availabe for mixed pens:
Hens: bantam cochins in white, buff, red, black, partridge.
White bantam sultans.
Silver-laced polish, standard size.
Silkies in white, buff, black, blue, partridge
Roos: bantam cochins in all the colors I mentioned above, plus a mottled. White frizzle and black frizzle.
White Sultan bantam.
Buff turken bantam.
Mille Fleur d'Uccle.
Large fowl polish in silver-laced, red, buff, blue, and black.
Silkies in white, buff, black, and partridge.
Thanks in advance!
