We had 4 chicks in a 4x4 insulated coop. And then I got 2 silkie chicks today
because, you know... chicken math!
Now I need to figure out how to expand our coop to make more room. I'd like to spend under $200. Probably won't make the expansion insulated or even use shingles. I'm thinking of using metal roofing and some kind of plywood and some 2x4's. I think i'd like to add another 4x3 feet of space. This means either adding it to the cleanout door or to the side without the window.
I already have plans ready for expanding the run, but I'd really like some design ideas for the coop expansion.
