Hello all,

First off, best of luck to all in their hatches.

I received my MUSCOVY eggs and put them in the incubator after the mom had began sitting on them already, and they could be anywhere from 29-33 days in the incubation process as of right now. I still do not see any internal pips.

I need an answer to a very urgent question. Is it okay if I stop turning the eggs when they internally pip? Or will I need to stop turning before the internal pip? I am going to up the humidity when they internally pip, but I want to know if it is okay for me to continue turning the eggs until the internal pip. A fast response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much

I've been following Yinepu's instructions, but he doesn't clearly address when to stop turning the eggs in that post

If you don't know the exact date, the best thing to do is to watch for Dipping. Once the egg dips, you can take it off the turner and lock it down.

Thanks for the response Lacrystol. Sorry if I sound like a newbie, but what exactly do you mean by dipping? Do you mean when the eggs start wiggling in the bator? Because I've been seeing some wiggling every now and then for some days now...

Dipping is when the Air cell takes a fall, it will fall to one side. if they are dipping then its three days before hatching time take them off the turner.
