need info on OEGBs

Im geting some OEGB eggs and I was woundering how big their cage needs to be? how many roos to hens ratio and any other special care they need? Thanks Kimberly

Roo to hen ratio is about 1:5 to ensure fertility. Some people actually keep 2 roos for 5-7 hens, just to be sure.

As far as a cage goes, I'm not sure. I think there is a sticky somewhere on space requirements for bantams, if I find it I'll repost.

Oh, and if you live in a cold climate, you will either need to make sure your coop is draft free, as their combs will get frostbitten. Or you can dub their combs, which is required for showing.
