We went to the feed store today to get a cochin and came home with three ducklings too. So what about magpies should we know? I know they are good layers and good meat birds, but do the ducks look any different from the drakes? Their hatchery miss informed the store because they told them that it was impossible to sex ducklings, but I watched a video on sexing just hatched ducklings made by MetzerFarm>> http://www.metzerfarms.com/SexingVideo.cfm?CustID=279993 But then I found that a magnifier would be useful and they have more fluff than chicks lol
