Need opinion of breeding Salmon Faverolle Rooster to other breeds

Hi fellow cluckers!
I finally moved on to 5 acres and I'm looking to expanding my flock. I have a Salmon Faverolle Rooster and I intend to breed him to my 2 other Salmon hens next year.... And perhaps to my other girls that are of different breeds.


My question is .. of the following list of hens... which would you breed to the Salmon Faverolle Rooster.. and why?

1. Silver Laced wyandotte
2. Partridge plymouth rock
3. Cuckoo Maran
4. Welsummer
5. White crested black polish
6. Easter Egger
7. Ancona
8. Golden Lakenvelder
9. Golden Polish
10. Speckled Sussex
11. Barred Rock
12. Barnevelder

I bred mine with my white easter egger because they seemed to like each other right away.

I'd breed him to the Barred Rocks and/or Cuckoo Marans, the babies will be sexlinks. Boys will be barred (black chicks with a white head spot) and girls will be black (no head spot).

All the others would give you shades of brown egg layers and we all know how common that is.

Plus, the EE's will keep the neat colors and beards.
