Need quick advice. Just picked up some chicks...

We just picked up some chicks, 1-4 days old. We didn't make it to the feed store before it closed (4 minutes late!). What can we feed them tonight until I can make it to the feed store in the morning?

Scrambled egg will work. No, I'm not kidding. Baby chicks survive the first 3 days after eating their yolk sac so it really is a nutritious choice.

i've used hard boiled eggs before too

You can use baby cereal and smashed boiled egg yolk will work, if you have oatmeal you can crush it with a rolling pin and use that.
