Ugh, my eggs started pipping last night--25 hours ago one of them pipped, then a couple of hours later, another. Last night was just barely moving into day 19, so we have just moved into day 20 now. Four have pipped by now. None have zipped. I *know* it can take a while, really I do! And I *know* they are running pretty early to start with! But I just can't help getting concerned that the first one hasn't zipped out yet. His pip is big enough that I can see his little beak in there and he has been moving, but for some reason, that isn't making me feel any better! Our last hatch was so completely horrid that I'm half convinced I'm going to lose this whole batch, too!

Ahhhhh!!! My eyeballs are starting to hurt! Help!

Watch a movie, go for a walk, train the dog a new trick... Somthing!

It's a long wait! If you keep staring at them though, worry is gonna get you!

Sometimes they start early. SOunds like they are doing a good job so far. a few of mine just hatched starting on Friday (classrom science class) so I figured they would all be hatched over the weekend even though they were not suppose to hatch until Tues Luckily they held off until sunday night into monday so the kids got to watch some of them hatch

Can't teach the dog a new trick because I haven't got one and everytime I tell the cat to fetch, it gives me the wicked evil eye!

The first egg is now zipped about 1/4 of the way, so maybe it'll hatch out tonight and I can stop freaking out about it. Last night, I was irked because I had to work and couldn't be home to keep an eye on the pipped eggs. Tonight, I'm off and wishing I were at work so I could take my mind off them!

This is what I fear the most! The waiting!!!!! We have 4 eggs in a very teeny incubator and we actually heard them tapping last night! It is day 20 today and I am on pins and needles! I know it only will get worse when the pipping starts! I have a dog, she doesn't like to learn new tricks but she is a darn good fetcher! I just don't know if I can get her to fetch for a 24 hour period to keep myself sane! LOL
