Need some help! New at this.

Hey everyone!

I'm super new at this chicken raising thing. My boyfriend and I started out with 4 leghorns. None of our girls are laying yet (on account of them still being too young).

After we had the Leghorns for a while, we decided that we had enough space in the coop and the run for 9 more hens. We bought 9 "mixed rare breed" pullets locally. We're having a heck of a time attempting to identify them! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Those are gorgeous chickens, though I'm not quite sure about the breed. I think I see some golden and silver Campines, a barred chicken (probably a Barred Rock, perhaps a Cuckoo Maran or Dominique), and Buff Orpingtons (or perhaps Buff Rocks).

Thanks guys! Everyone we've asked so far has been completely dumbfounded by our weird mix of breeds. Haha. Still looking into it!

I agree on the Campines, and maybe a Fayoumi. The barred bird is probably a cuckoo Marans, and agree on silver phoenix. You should go to Murray McMurray's website, they have good pics and are likely where your birds came from, you can easily match them up there.
