need suggestions

we are in the process of building a bunch of pens. We know what we will be using for the backs and sides (cattle panels covered in chicken wire). However we are not sure what to use for the fronts and gates. We can't use the panels because we can not cut them (the welded wire is WAY too thick). any suggestions?

You can cut them with a sawzall or bolt cutters. If thats not an option, then the only thing i can think of is to set posts on that side and build a custom gate..or buy one.

all of my gates are recycled cyclone fence gates that i have gotten second hand.

Salvation Army, refurb stores, freecycle.org and craigslist have all helped me find them.

My hubby cuts them to the size I want with his torch. Doesn't leave a sharp end on them like bolt cutters do.

Hacksaw does the job real well.
