Need to dust chickens?

I regularly sprinkle food-grade DE in both my coop and the run. Do I also need to individually dust my chickens? They do take dust baths in the run.

They are about 12 weeks old now, and I haven't been picking them up regularly, so I'm sure they wouldn't like it.

I sprinkle it in the area they take thier dustbaths. If they haven't got any visible paratites it wouldn't hurt, but it might not be necessary.
