This year my mom was diagnosed with cancer for the third time. She was the primary caregiver to the birds but she can no longer go near them because of her immune system. I am too busy and cannot take care of the birds. Our flock consists of 1 Delaware Rooster (3-4 years old) 1 Speckled Sussex Rooster (3-4 years old), 1 Buff Orpington Hen (3-4 years old), 1 Gold Laces Wyandotte Hen (4-5 Years old), 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte Hen (3-4 years old), 1 Male Rouen Duck (5 Years old), 1 Wild Mallard (3-4 years old), and 1 Jumbo Pekin (3-4 years old). A little information, The Delaware Rooster has an amputated middle toe on his right foot after getting an infection, this causes him to limp. He is by far the nicest bird in the flock and loves to be pet. All the birds seem to be healthy. I need to get rid of them ASAP. I just do not have the time to give them the care they need and my mom is not allowed to be with them. I live in North Bend Washington. One last thing, these birds need to go to a strict no kill home. I will not said these birds to a home where they will be killed.
Thank you!

Jack,
So sorry to hear about your mom. We can take all the females if you're willing to separate them. We have kind of a retirement home for older and unwanted animals. They would join our flock that is free range during the day and behind an electric fence at night. There is a coop for the chickens and the ducks would share a 40'x90' pond with our ducks. All of our animals are pets, not dinner, and when they die of old age we bury them in our graveyard. Best of all we live near JBLM and could pick them up and, if your mom wants them back at some point you could come get them.
