Need to know breed and sex for sure - 4 months

This chicken is 4 months old today. I don’t know her breed to look it up. Can anyone tell
Me for sure? Also, she has the largest comb and wattles of any of my chickens so I worry about her being a rooster, even though I’ve been told she is a pullet. So, is she a she or a he?

Are you sure 4 months is correct? That's a female coloring, it looks like a grown welsummer hen but the comb and wattles are abnormally large for 16 weeks. perhaps she'll be an early layer.

I purchased day old chicks (arrived sept 2) and they definitely looked like little chicks, so I am guessing last day or two of August. So, call it Sept 1. So, that is 16 weeks. I was surprised by the comb and wattles because none of my other chickens have anything close. So it is still a toss up between brown leghorn and welsummet. Does it help that she is on the smaller end of my flock size (all purchased the same day)? She is about the same size as my Ameracaunas. Would a leghorn be bigger than that? My Cochins and marens are bigger than her.

She must be a leghorn,they get comb andwattles early.

She has also been the most vigorous of the chicks from day one. Always running around, rarely resting In One place. Hardest To catch, very Wiley. I was sure she was going to be a rooster at first.

Heehee, a mix of colored-egg layers and I have soooooo many varieties. I am so glad I did, but this exercise of determining breeds has been fun but frustrating.

Brown leghorns have white ears and welsummers have red ears.

Her size compared to the others and her activity level are expected in a brown leghorn. A bigger comb is too.

One of my brown leghorns developed a comb and wattles sooner than my Australorps, the other later. Both leghorns laid their first egg weeks later than the Australorps, though.
