need to landscape my chicken/duck pen

So this is my pen anyone have and suggestions on wit plants I can put that r safe and pretty??

The pen is about 250'×60' with a 10'×16' pond for the ducks.I would like to put sum grass around the pond and add sum color as well as sum plants that could act as extra shade and wind block for all my girls want it to look nice

I'm no expert on this, but I know there are very few types of vegetation that can stand up to chickens. I know I've researched it before. I've had luck with vines growing on the opposite side of the fence, but anything in the pen, including grass, has a very short lifespan.
