I have 2 starlings that were born around April 16-19,2020. I rescued their nest of 5 on April 22. One passed away and 2 were rehomed when they were babies. I intended to keep these two as my forever pets, but it just isn't working out like I hoped. When they were young they were attached to humans which is why I could not release them, but now they are super skidding with people. I work a 9-5 and have other pets that need to be walked, etc. when I get home from work so I do not have the time to devote to really getting them comfortable with people again. They are named Shakespeare and Brownie. They are fully weaned and self-fed. They eat the dry starling mix, fruits/veggies and mealworms.

I live right outside of Baltimore, Maryland. I am willing to drive up to 1.5 hours, I will consider more based on circumstances and area ( I travel a lot so chances are I may be nearby). I would prefer to not rehome in PA as I have heard horror stories of DNR taking them away as it is not legal.

I do not want any money for the birds. However, I just bought them a brand new flight cage on June 15th (31x20.5x53) with a bunch of perches, toys, bowls, and a seed skirt. I paid over $250 for everything and I am hoping to get $100 for everything. If you have a cage/aviary you don't have to buy the cage I can sell it on a local yardsale site :)

I can go more into detail about them and provide pictures for anyone interested

If they are European Starlings, I doubt a wildlife sanctuary will take them. They are invasive.
