So we just learned that one of our Buff Orpington girls is not a girl. 😣 Where I live there are certain requirements to owning roosters; specifically needing to live on 10 acres of land and we only live on one.

So my Ginger needs a new home (as well as a new name. Lol). He will be 22 weeks on March 1st and in perfect health.

I am not sure what personal information I am allowed to give out here, but I live in the North Georgia area. If anyone around here is looking for a rooster or would be able to take him off my hands I’d really appreciate it. I would much rather see him off to another home than having someone from the county come take him and most likely kill him.

I can send more close up pictures if anyone is interested

He is a very pretty rooster, sadly I live to far. Try joining chicken groups in your area (on Facebook or on almost any social media site). It is very rare a chicken would actually find a home on BYC considering a lot of people live out of the US. I’ve heard some people use Craig’s list to get rid of there roosters. I hope this helps and I hope you can find him a new home.
