Hello! We are new to this online group and we are newbie quail owners. We are enjoying the experience thus far and really love our birds. We acquired our birds in May as a birthday gift to my son who turned 11 years old.
These are our sweet roosters, Mélange and Espresso, they are both young male Coturnix quails, almost 8 weeks old. Mélange is an Italian and Espresso is a Manchurian. They are both sweet and gentle. I need to re-home them because I have too many males and one of my males is acting as my alpha male creating havoc with the rest of my small flock. Our quail are our pets and we are not interested in breeding. I have 5 hens and two other roosters. I respectfully request that they are to be adopted as breeders or to be pets ONLY. They are NOT for meat. We obtained them from a local breeder that takes great care to produce high quality Coturnix quail and we have taken very good care of them. We are asking $25 each.
