We need to rehome our indoor hen. She cannot live outside with our other chickens because she only has one eye and is not acclimated to the weather.
We live in Memphis and will bring her and her cage to you within reasonable distance.

I am in Fort Worth TX and have an indoor hen as well. She was kicked out of her flock a couple years ago. Would yours get along with another hen? I’d be able to meet up somewhere in the middle if the drive is too far.

I believe she would be fine living with another hen. Would you need her cage or would she live with your other hen?
We are in quite the predicament, we don’t want her to move but my husband has developed a lung condition and the doctors say that our bird is inflaming the issue.
:(
It’s pretty far to Ft Worth this month. In Mid July, I would be able to bring her as far as Texarkana. Would that work for you?

If it’s okay, I’d like the cage so that she has a separate space until she and my girl are fully introduced. July would be fine! I can drive to Texarkana. Do you have a picture of her? This is my nugget Speckles.

I will have to work it out with my husband to see if he will bring his truck. So I can bring the cage. I don’t like to take his truck too far.
Closer to home would’ve been easier to move the cage. It is pretty big. It’s roughly 5’x4’ and is up on legs so she can see out the window.
She is a lover and her name is Chickenbird King (long story LOL) attached are some photos

If it’s too much hassle, don’t worry about the cage. You’re already making a long drive. I can introduce them without it. Speckles has her crate and also a play pen so there’s ways I can make it work! Your hen is quite beautiful!

Thank you. Your hen is quite beautiful as well.
We have a playpen that we bought for her to live in when we thought the inside thing would be temporary. It’s in great shape and if it’s ok with you we will bring it.
Are you by chance on FB?
