Unfortunately, I didn't manage to photograph her. It was almost a prolapse, the cloaca was protruding and the oviduct was the area filled with albumen and about three full size yolks, and a few smaller ones floating in there.Yes, sometimes it is better to cull and get to the bottom of the issue than trying to treat what is not treatable and having the bird suffering through our well meant intentions.
Did you take any pictures during your home necropsy for us to help identify what the root cause might have been?
Next time, I'll bear in mind to take and share the necropsy images.
