Hello fellow Floridians!!

I have a bit of a problem, I have a sweet, year old, Dark Cornish hen who keeps going broody. Shes serving her fifth sentence in the broody coop. It works very well, but a couple of weeks later shes broody again (and Ive done all of the keeping her out of the nest box, collecting the eggs reguarly etc....).

I dont have (nor do I want) a Roo, so her efforts are in vain. I dont have the room in my coop and run for any more so I cant give her a chick to raise.

When shes not broody she lays at least five eggs a week, and is very good natured, lets you pick her up for hugs etc.
I would love to give her to someone who has the room and circumstances to have her and let her either have some fertilized eggs of her own, or be able to hatch someone elses eggs.
Shes not a happy girl when shes broody, and desparatly wants to be a good mother.
Hubby thinks we should cull her, but if anyone would like her, she'd make a wonderful addition to your flock.
As I said, shes a Dark Cornish, 15 months old, great layer, healthy and has been raised with five other girls (shes never see a Roo, so not sure how that transition would go...) I live in east Bradenton, FL. so if your nearby and would like her, please reply.
Thankyou sooo much.
Rachel.
