I am saying, "Hi" to all bird lovers. ( "Bunny" just walked over my keyboard.) Maybe she doesn't agree with me or she is too excited about the idea of finally getting an egg that hatches! One way or the other, she is broooooooody, and sooooo wants an egg that will hatch since she can't get a guy in her life being a female pigeon pet. I am her "Mate" as many people would understand. What I need is ONE egg that she can have the satisfaction of caring for until fruition. She is from offspring from people in Marin County that had racers and "Homing Pigeons", although we know the true "Homing Pigeon" is gone. She has a white spot over her back that encompasses it.
Is anyone out there that has a couple of eggs from a pigeon that she or I can help hatch so she can be entirely the sweetheart that she really is? Or does anyone know where I can get a couple dove or pigeon eggs for her? She is around six months old and is so sad after sitting on her unfertilized eggs that I am now reaching out big-time to anyone who would be so kind as to give me advice to an egg connection or send me some fertilized eggs. I don't know how much an egg goes for, but if anyone wants eggs from her afterward if she has a male(Is that socially acceptable?) I will send you back her offspring. She is a beautiful and intelligent wild European rock pigeon that could give great genetic strains to anyone. She is so smart she knows words, commands and has great conformation! She is hand-trained and knows a lot of commands. She is broody, so that means she will add to anyone's flock in a good way because she is so darn smart and very very very very loving and gentle. Her intelligence speaks for itself, because she doesn't "Scare" because she knows how to adapt to different changes and still be her cool self. What else can I say? She kicks-ass. Feathers as smooth as a well cared for cockatoo's! Beautiful and clear eyes, and strong. I just want her to have one clutch of eggs so she can experience motherhood. That's all. You can have her babies. Talk to me!!
