When the chicks are young and inside, I also train them to drink out of large 32 ounce hanging water bottles. They can do it and there is very little spill and no knocking it over because it is on the wall. They peck at the ball to get a drink

SilkieChicken, does that really work? Are you talking about the kind of bottles that people use for rabbits and such? Please advise, as I'm trying to come up with a solution to having water available in the coop without having to worry about some dizzy bird knocking it over and flooding the place. Thanks!
