Sounds like you have 2 problems.

1.) Egg eating - simple easy solution paint 2 eggs with Dave's Insanity sauce or the like and leave them out for the dogs to get. When I had a puppy chewing on electrical cords this cured him immediately. He would not even look at them again. Just be really careful not to get any on your hands because if you wipe your eyes you will want to die.

2.) Maybe eating chicks - did you have a rooster last year? They are normally pretty good at letting you know you have a problem. I would work with their owners and train the dogs to behave properly.

I have to keep my chickens in the run until late in the afternoon well almost bedtime, due to GD's dog. so now I sit on the back of the p/u and watch my chickens when they are outside the run. Her dog almost ate my little yorkie,so now when i go out DH gun goes with me. not to hit the dog just to scare him and all he has to do is see me and he runs, but I still watch my chickens until they go in the coop to roost.My chickens are the ones having to pay for her stupid dog.
