This is the 1st time that my 2 5 week old Sizzlers are in the big coop with my other 10 & 12 week older Chicks! (Silkies & EE) We started the introductions earlier with them in the chicken tractor & now that the others have gone to roost & it's dark, I have moved them...... but now we are getting a couple of Thunderstorms here jn Northeastern Oklahoma & I'm happy they're
Well it seems to going well so far. I keep them in a tractor during the day & at night I take them out & place them with the others, but just before sunrise I put them back into the Tractor. Also if I happen to be in the Coop I will open the top so they can visit, but I have to sit near by because my EE's & CQ will peck, I know it's going to happen, but they're so tiny compared to the others!
The EE's sleep on the roost & silkies sleep right there! Silly little Chicks! So just taking it one day @ a time.
