Nervous Pekins!!

Well I've been flat out finishing off the pen! Had everybody out yesterday for a potter about and they loved it! The ducks took ages to come out they seem so nervous of anything new. The hens were having a dust bath lol! I've put up a big pool for them with temporary stone steps,I'm going to make a ramp. So far they've had a peek at it but haven't gone in ...so tempted to lift them in as they will love it but they'd never forgive me lol Is everyone's ducks nervous of new things?

Yes, always. Ducks don't much like change. We had a couple that stopped laying one time just because we gave them a better water dish.

Lmao! Oh they are so not happy with me changing things about!My daughter lifted them into the pool last night, they stayed in for about 5mins then out again! I nearly broke my back today trying to make it easier for them to get in but they were too busy telling me off lol!!
