Ok guys so I’m really nervous. I am on day 19 of my duck eggs and I just candled and noticed the air sac is starting to finally grow more which is great but it looks like there are a few tiny bubbles within the air sac itself. Are they going to be ok? I can’t post a picture at the moment but I’m really worried! I have my own *still air, no fan* incubator that i made and they were doing great however I switch thermometers bc I am calabrating the one with humidity on it, the new one is pretty on point and I noticed it was reading lower then the original one I had in there for the other 18 days...I didn’t worry much bc for hours it was holding steady at 100...i just went to check and the temp was 104!!! But the egg temps were a little over 100 (i checked with a laser temp gun) but I can see movement!!!!!...i cooled them with cool water quickly just in case but I did notice these little tiny clear bubbles??!!any ideas what is going on? I can post a pic tomorrow morning!

Maybe @Pyxis could help too!

I know that when I collect my eggs in the morning and after cleaning them and candling them sometimes I see air bubbles in the air cell. It has always been because there was a crack in the shell. I know that has nothing to do with incubation but I'm just throwing that out there as a possible reason?

Thank you! I checked them this morning and now those bubbles seem to be gone. Maybe it was due to me dipping them in cool water to make sure their temp didn’t rise too high as I wasn’t sure how long my gage was reading 104...Thankfully they are still moving!!!! 🙏🏼
