Nest Box Help

I'm building a separate nest box and wondering how high is too high. Thanks.

you should put it any where between chest and eye sight level

i was going to make the bottom 4 ft. with it being 2ft tall would put the top 6ft. lol Im a tall guy so 6ft is a little bellow eye level. This sound okay?

try a temporary one then see if they like it if they dont like it lower it if they like make it perminant

From what I have read here, the nest boxes should be lower than your roost so that the hens don't sleep in them. My girls aren't old enough for nest boxes yet... but soon
