First question, will 1 nest box be enough for 4 or should i have 2?

Also, should i not bother making them until they are ready to lay? Im thinking ill avoid the struggles of them trying to sleep in them/on them if i just leave them out altogether for now. Is there some reason to put them in now that i just dont know of?

1 should be enough...but 2 might be a good idea.(chicken math, you know)
You can build them now, but keep them covered until they are using the roosts to sleep and are closer to point of lay

Thanks. Its no prob to build 2 verses ome i will do that. But instead of covering them could i just leave them out until theyre older?

You could but I would think it's easier, and less disruptive, to build them in before the birds are in residence.
