Nest boxes?

How far should the nest boxes be of the floor? Thank you

There isn't a set thing. Some are on the floor. Mine I want to be about a foot up when I build them but for now are on a 2x4 base on the ground. The important thing is that they ae lower thant the roosts.

Mine sit about 24 inches off the floor, because I didn't want to waste any floor space (a benefit of elevating them). As long as your roosts can be a little higher than your nest boxes, it's really personal preference.
