Nest Doors

For ease and convenience of gathering eggs, I was thinking of designing the coop such that the nest boxes had doors opening to the outside. The coop would have to be heated/insulated, any idea of how to seal in the warmth but still be able to access the nests? The doors would be as predator proofed as you all will think of!

Any ideas?

I struggled with the same questions, so I did the easy thing and made internal nest boxes. I find myself checking the food and water while I'm collecting eggs, so I'm in the coop anyway.
