Is 19 inches high (at the back), the base is 12 inches wide, and the opening is 7.5 inches. I followed online instructions, but b/c I only had scrap wood to work with, my dimensions were just a tad off. I thought it was still ok though. What do you think? Just making sure they were done right so as to "welcome the ladies" haha :)

Base is 12 inches (so 1 foot) by 11 inches. But the slanted roof means that the opening when they walk in is at 10 inches, and the back (top of the slant) measures 19 inches from the bottom.

I have 2 RIR, 2 white leghorns and 1 americauna.

I also have RIRs and Ameraucanas and my nesting boxes are 12"x12"x12." They seem to like it just fine :)

Anyone trying smaller nesting boxes for bantams? I'm considering 10"x10"x12". Thoughts?
