nesting box for cochins and buff orphingtons

I recently saw a thread about nesting boxes and I really like the bucket idea with the lid cut. I want to use this idea but I have cochins and buff orphingtons. I am afraid this will be too small for these bigger girls. Has anyone used this nesting box method with these girls if so has it been successfull.

Hi my Buff's and my Cochin's utilize a tote with a door cut out, I put this on some pallets one day cleaning it just letting it dry(as I used it as a brooder) and the Buff hen climbed under and preened... I got the idea to cut a door (cover when using as brooder. lol) placed some straw and that's where they go! No one here wants any buckets unless they have feed then all bets are off!
